A very warm welcome awaits you at St Marys
Whether you’ve lived in Sholing all your life or have just moved to the area, we’re here for you.
Hello
I’m Garry, the Vicar here at St Mary’s. I’m passionate about building a church that’s open, inclusive, and deeply connected to the life of our community. You don’t have to have it all together, believe all the right things, or even know where to start - just come as you are.
Since 1865, St Mary’s has been a place where people gather to worship, find hope, ask big questions, and walk alongside one another. We’re a growing and diverse church family, united by our desire to follow Jesus and make his love known in real, practical ways
Our vision is simple: To BE with Jesus, to BECOME like Jesus, and to DO what Jesus did.
That means loving God, loving our neighbours, and serving our local community with joy and compassion.
Take a look around the site, and if you’re curious, why not join us one Sunday or pop along to one of our community events? We’d love to meet you.
With every blessing,
Revd Garry Roberts - Vicar of St Mary’s Church, Sholing
